Meet Dr. Robertson
A native of eastern Pennsylvania, Dr. Robertson was raised in the small town of Kutztown. He attended college at the University of Pittsburgh and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with honors in 2007 and his doctorate in dental medicine (DMD) at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2011.
Following dental school, he completed a two-year General Practice Residency at York Hospital (now Wellspan Health Network) in York and a one-year Oral Surgery internship at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. After an additional four years of advanced training in medicine, anesthesia, and general and oral and maxillofacial surgery, he earned his Oral Surgery certificate from Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh in 2018. Dr. Robertson is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
His interests include parenteral anesthesia (IV sedation), dentoalveolar surgery (extractions, impacted third molars or wisdom teeth), implant surgery, bone grafting, surgical and medical management of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, and corrective jaw surgery. He sees patients in the Shadyside and Tarentum locations. He is also active with the Dental Alumni Association and the oral surgery program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.
When he is out of the office, he enjoys spending time with friends, family, and his dogs, playing golf, reading non-fiction, cooking, and baking. He currently resides in the suburbs of Pittsburgh with his wife and son.
