Dr. Eikner is not only a wonderful surgeon, he is a kind and compassionate person. I was so worried about having a procedure done and he was able to calm my fears. The staff is also very supportive and made you feel at ease.

I absolutely LOVE the staff in the South Hills office. I was scheduled to have my wisdom teeth removed in July but had to reschedule and the front office staff was amazing to work with. Dr Hartman did an amazing job on the procedure. In total it took about 20 minutes to remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth. I will always recommend this office for any oral surgeon needs!

Dr. Smiga Is a gift to the Dental Profession. He is not only an exceptional oral surgeon, he is also very courteous and caring. With in seconds of meeting Dr. Smiga the anxious part of me was instantly quelled. His kind gentle mannerisms immediately reassure you that you are in the hands of a caring doctor. He is the best!

My experiences with this group, and in particular, Dr. Davies, was exemplary. Any classical notions of fear and trepedation when visiting "The Dentist", can be completely dispelled by visiting this office. The discussion with Dr. Davies regarding my condition could have qualified as the Spanish Inquisition reinactment, but she was extremely patient and comprehensive in her approach. No rush! My friend and family dentist characterized this group as the best in Pittsburgh and I can see his justification.

The office was very busy and everyone was moving fast , a person was waiting you her sister to come out of surgery and was concerned as soon as asked about her condition a staff member came to bring her back to recovery to be with her sister , very human , compassionate and touching . Every patient who came in had a story and the staff was there to help to crest a happy ending !

I was so nervous about getting a dental implant. I was taken a little before my appointment time and did not have to sit around worrying in the exam room. Everyone was so nice, explained everything to me so there were no surprises. There was no pain at all-if it was not for the few stitches, I would not known I’ve had anything done. I’ve had filling that hurt worse and took longer to do. Dr Eichner and his staff are the absolute best.

The entire staff both in Tarentum Shadyside we're terrific. Informative, kind, patient, friendly; especially this morning when the receptionist had a very difficult patient's parent. She remained kind and unmoved by her rude behavior treating her with extreme kindness when the mother was being anything but to her. The medical assistant, nurse anesthetist and entire rest of the staff were caring and made my procedure more Bearable. Thank you everyone.

surpassed outstanding performance Dr Davis and her assistant Shawna treated me with the utmost kindness and respect ! i was in a lot of pain with a cracked tooth and they both made the process of pulling it so less traumatic ! never once did they make me feel like a big baby also when I checked out to pay my bill and schedule follow up appointment was so pleasant these are definitely wonderful employees who deserve a high five and earn every penny they make and more so

This was the first time I had Dr. Bryce Hartman and the first time I have been to the Shadyside office. I would definitely recommend him to anybody who needs any kind of oral surgery. He explained exactly what he was going to be doing, answered all of my questions, and extracted my tooth without any pain. The only thing I even felt was the needle going into the roof of my mouth for numbing, which was extremely minimal. The entire staff was extremely helpful making sure that I understood what to do and what to expect, and if I had any problems or concerns whatsoever, to call their number, which they respond to 24 hours a day. Dr. Hartman even called me that same night to make sure that I was okay and not having any problems.

I've been getting work done on this tooth in some way, shape or form for 18 months. I've had some form of a toothache for EIGHTEEN MONTHS. I got the tooth extracted yesterday and while it hurt yesterday, this morning was the first morning in 18 months I didn't wake up clenching my jaw in pain. I can speak without it hurting and I can sing without it hurting. Everybody I interacted with was so kind and really helpful with my dental anxiety. Nobody wants to need a tooth extracted but the people made the process a lot less difficult than I thought it'd be.
